Activity Updates
National Grid provides activity updates for neighbors of the Clifton former MGP site as developments related to site remediation occur. The updates will describe the work that is on-going at Operable Unit 2 (OU-2), located at 25 Willow Avenue, to remediate the former main operating portion of the Site that was closed in 1957. Two off-site areas with MGP residuals are located adjacent to the OU-2 Site at 89 Willow Avenue and between Edgewater Street and Bay Street at 1 Edgewater Street.
Remedial activity for Operable Unit 1 (40 Willow Avenue) has been completed and the parcel is now in the Operations, Maintenance & Monitoring (OM&M) phase. There will be no further updates for OU 1, but monitoring and other reports will be placed in the Key Documents/Major Reports section of this website as they are completed and approved.
